The Oceanview Motel and Lounge has been involved in sponsoring soccer in St. Lawrence over the past 40 years. Bud has always had a keen interest in making sure there were sufficient funds available to ensure a successful operation. Not only did Bud Look after 1st Division but also he was also very generous to the Intermediates and Ladies.

His contributions in new uniforms, direct donations, free space at his facility, and certain beverage products eased the financial burden on the Association.

His establishment hosted the hospitality suite and banquet for the National Senior Men's Soccer Championship, which was held in St. Lawrence in 1977.
